The exam score for General Category Candidates must be 60% and for the reserved categories it would be 50% for qualigying for MPTET .
Candidates belonging to the following reserved categories shall be given a 10% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks given above:
• Scheduled Castes (SC)
• Scheduled Tribes (ST)
• Other Backward Classes (OBC), and
• Physically Disabled Persons

MP TET Primary Teacher Exam Pattern
• Exam Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes
• Question Paper: 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
• Each question carries 1 mark, total 150 marks
• No negative marking

• Each subject has 30 questions, and each section is worth 30 marks.
• For Physical Education, Dance and Music teacher posts:
• Sections 1 to 3 are the same as above.
• Section 4 includes 15 MCQs for Physical Education, 10 for Music, and 5 for Dance.
• A total of 120 MCQs in the fourth section.
• Questions are based on the Class 1 to 5 syllabus

MP TET Middle School Eligibility Criteria :- Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the MP TET Varg-2 exam, candidates must choose a specific subject from the provided list. The MP Employee Selection Board outlines the following educational qualifications in its official rulebook for subject teachers:
• A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject, accompanied by a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or an equivalent qualification).
• Graduation in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks and a one-year B.Ed.
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 45% marks, along with a B.Ed.
• Minimum 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) along with a 4-year B.El.Ed. (Bachelor in Elementary Education).
• Achieving at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree (B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.).
• Graduation in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks and a one-year B.Ed. (special education).

MP TET Varg 2 Exam Pattern (Middle School)
• Total of 150 Multiple Choice Questions.
• Each question carries 1 mark, total of 150 marks.
• Exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• Originally, negative marking was considered but later removed, resulting in no negative marking in the exam.
Question paper divided into two parts:
• Part-A: Common for all candidates.
• Part-B: Candidates choose one subject based on preference.

MP TET HIG SCHOOL Eligibility Criteria:-Education Qualification
- To be eligible, you need a Second Class Master’s Degree/ Post Graduation Degree in the relevant subject along with B.Ed or an equivalent qualification, securing a minimum of 50% marks.
- For Sanskrit, a Second Class Acharya Degree in Sanskrit Literature/Grammar from a recognized university is required, accompanied by a mandatory B.Ed degree.
