HTET PRT TGT PGT Eligibility Criteria:
For Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5)
Educational Qualification:
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) in accordance with NCTE guidelines.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
For Trained Graduate Teacher (Class 6 to 10)
Educational Qualification:
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university.
For Post Graduate Teacher (Class 11 to 12)
Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university and B.Ed.
Eligibility Criteria for Level-I: Primary Teacher (PRT) for Classes I–V
To become a Primary Teacher (PRT) for Classes I to V, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
i) Educational Qualification (Any one of the following):
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks
and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known),
as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007, notified on 31st August 2009.

and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known),
